Relationships with Wonderful Communities
July 1, 2017
In San Diego, hosted by Pastor Ray Bentley. Pastor Bentley is one of Israel's biggest fans. He heads a large community that has donated millions of dollars to projects in Israel. I was honored to be mentioned in his book:
"Maya became a valuable contact and friend to me and others from my church as we decided to raise funds to help Jewish immigrants."
How to spread the word about philanthropy

The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews ( IFCJ ) is the biggest philanthropic foundation in Israel with annual donations of over $100 million - mostly from Christians who support and love Israel. Its president and founder is Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein.
The goal of IFCJ is to establish and maintain a bridge between Cristians, Jews and Israel. The donations are used for the benefit of those in need in Israel and the Diaspora as well as many projects relating to immigration, absorption, poverty and welfare, and national strength.
IFCJ's work is extremely important and its efforts and successes should be celebrated by all those who care about Israel. This week I was able to arrange an interview of Rabbi Eckstein at the newspaper Shavua Israeli, LA's biggest Israeli newspaper.
I'm happy to see that so many Israelis living abroad will learn all about IFCJ's important work. I can't wait to read the article!
A wonderful experience!

Yesterday I finished a three-month philanthropy training course for Masa participants. These are the young adults who will be the future leaders of the Jewish world. It was such a privilege! In this course, I provided them knowledge, methods and practical tools they can use, whether they will be working in the non-profit sector or in a social business, or even if they become philanthropists themselves :)
Thank you for a wonderful experience! www.masaisrael.org
